What is Viewer Mode?

Viewer Mode is a read-only mode in Morph that allows users to view data apps built within the platform. This feature provides a simpler experience when developers share their apps with business teams.

By deploying an app to the Viewer, you can share the latest version of your data app. Developers can distribute the Viewer link to their team, making it easy to start using the app in a production setting.

How to Apply Changes to Viewer Mode

To apply changes, launch Editor Mode and navigate to the Code tab to access the Deploy Dashboard. From the Deploy Dashboard, add a commit message and commit your changes. Once the deployment is complete, the latest version of your data app will be available in Viewer Mode.

Why Did We Create Viewer Mode?

At Morph, we aim to solve business data utilization challenges by accelerating the process of building data apps. By separating Editor Mode from Viewer Mode, developers can ensure the security of their workspace, while end-users can start using data apps without feeling overwhelmed by complex interfaces.
